In the 80's at the head of a professional risk prevention company he could notice how negligent men were with regard to their skin. Then, he created an event by launching the first skincare range for men.
An inventor of concepts
This adventure led him to set up a partnership with Sanofi and to participate in the development of the dermatological branch of this powerful pharmaceutical group. His imagination and his capacities as an inventor led him, in particular, to initiate the concept of antiseptic microcapsules which was published internationally in "Dermatological News", a Franco-British scientific review. On this basis, a few months later, the first microcapsule deodorant was launched.
An entrepreneur with a love of independence
In 1991, successfully leading one of the very first LMBO operations in France, he bought the whole of his dermatological business from Sanofi and thus took the helm of CS Dermatologie which he brought to the front row of French laboratories in the special field. He worked, in particular with Prof. Aron-Brunetière, on the development of a topical medicine aiming at fighting the hormonal ageing of women's skin after the menopause.
An inspired innovator
Basing himself on this hormonal concept, in 2003 Didier Rase began research applied to men. It ended in autumn 2006 with the discovery of Phyto-androzyme®. The beneficial properties of this natural plant molecule on the general skin condition were clinically proved. Its action on the metabolism of testosterone makes it the preserve of men's skincare. The molecule was then patented worldwide.
The male revolution
In March 2006, Didier Rase sold CS Dermatologie to the British laboratory Sinclair. Towards the end of 2006, he developed, according to the standards in force for dermatology, the very first range of cosmetics scientifically developed for men. In May 2007, he founded the Laboratoires DIDIER RASE and on 23 October 2007, he began marketing his products on Internet.
