Phyto-androzyme®, a visible and rapid improvement in the general skin condition


A scientific procedure

As early as 2003, Didier Rase asked for the collaboration of a French pharmaceutical research centre known all over the world. He wanted to find the molecule(s) from the plant kingdom that might be able to counter the progressive testosterone deficiency in men's skin.
The most sophisticated technologies were applied. More than 250,000 plant molecules, modelled in three dimensions, were tested by virtual computer screening. This initial research resulted in the selection of four molecules likely to block the deterioration of the testosterone.

A convincing efficacy in vitro

One of these molecules proved in vitro its ability to inhibit the action of the three substances involved in the progressive testosterone deficiency: SHBG (Sex Hormone-Binding Globulin), 5-Alpha-reductase and Aromatase.
Didier Rase called it Phyto-androzyme®, from phyto (plant), andros (man) and enzyme (a molecule acting on the metabolism).
Phyto-androzyme® is a natural plant active ingredient taken from the magnolia, which monitors the level of free testosterone through two types of mechanism:

1°) – Decoy effect: the SHBG is a transport protein on which the testosterone fixes, which then becomes a bound testosterone and not immediately available for the target receivers. Phyto-androzyme® takes the place of the testosterone on the SHBG. The levels of free and bioavailable testosterone are thus increased.

2°) – Enzyme inhibition: the testosterone is metabolised (transformed or deteriorated) by enzymes, mainly by two of them:

• Aromatase, which is the enzyme which converts testosterone (the male hormone) into oestradiol (the female hormone).
• 5-Alpha reductase, which converts testosterone into DHT (DiHydroTestosterone) which is well known for its action on the sebaceous glands (hyperseborrhaea).

By inhibiting these two enzymes, Phyto-androzyme® contributes to the standardisation of the free and bioavailable testosterone levels at the receivers of the target cells in the skin tissue.

This triple action, observed in vitro, seemed able to naturally regulate the level of bioavailable testosterone necessary for a perfect skin condition. Phyto-androzyme® therefore appeared to be a potentially revolutionary active ingredient in the improvement of the general condition of men's skin. All that was left was to prove its efficacy and its tolerance on men.

… confirmed by strict clinical trial results

The clinical trials were carried out on about sixty men using the indisputable double blind medical protocol. They fully confirmed the intuition of Didier Rase. The skin redensifying effects, the smoothing effects and the smoothing out of wrinkles were significant from the 28th day of use and increased up until the end of the trial (2 months). These indisputable results enabled Didier Rase to patent the Phyto-androzyme® worldwide.

Phyto-androzyme® is present in all Didier Rase products and is the basic active ingredient: the one that acts right at the roots. Used from the age of thirty or sooner, it will improve, over the years, the overall condition of the skin and will delay the appearance of wrinkles and their development.
